Get ready to be inspired at our upcoming Mid-Year #connect 2024 Event in Krakow!

This year, our focus is on #connecting – forging meaningful bonds with one another, engaging with our leaders, and immersing ourselves in the Frontline experience.

The core Mid Year #connect event will happen from Thursday, 13th of June to Friday, 14th of June. Kicking off on Thursday morning at the Krakow Hive, we'll dive into business updates.

Following this, get ready to delve into Industry 4.0, where you'll witness how robots will support frontline workers in the future. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to explore all stages of beer production at the Okocim Brewery.

As the day winds down, we will dome together for a relaxed and enjoyable BBQ.

The morning after we get together in the Hive to connect with our leaders in a Cross Functional setup. After we'll hold an Open Mic session where you will have the chance to share 1 insight or what you learned when observing the Frontline in the Robotics center and the Brewery.

You'll get a hands-on look at what goes into the beer production process and experience firsthand how it all comes together. At the end, you'll get to sample a few types of beer :)

Take a short stroll through the beautiful Goetz Park, or hop on the bus that will take you to the hotel where we will host the BBQ.

Relax in the cozy atmosphere of Hotel August and have a great evening. For the more active bees, we have plenty of space to play soccer, volleyball, or badminton.

Travel & Expenses Guidelines

Expense Guidelines

Please read through our Travel & Expenses Policy carefully before traveling.

Only receipts eligible for reimbursements can be submitted under your department's cost center in Yokoy, using the category “Krakow Mid-Year #connect 2024".

🚨 Attention Managers: You are accountable for ensuring that team expenses are aligned with our company's expense policy before granting approval.

Flights & Trains

Check your individual arrival and departure date in this sheet before booking your travels.

Book travel yourself using TravelPerk. You will find an email from TravelPerk in your inbox to join the Event Group.

Your flights or trains have to be booked before you register for the event here, as you will be asked to enter your travel details in the registration form.

Travel costs will fall under your department's cost centers.

Book Economy Class, hand luggage only for flights.

We expect you to be cost conscious. If you are unsure that you will be able to attend this event, we recommend you book your flight with flexible cancellation.

Please note that the maximum allowed amount for flight bookings if of EUR 350 and Trains EUR 1oo. This should include additional flexibility options purchased.

Airport transfer

Use public transportation to get to your local airport and to the Hotel in Krakow. This expense can be reimbursed.

The costs for use of an Uber will be reimbursed only if this use will result in a substantial time saving of at least 30 minutes one-way and/or cost saving, or if use of public transportation is unsuitable. Write a note justifying the use of an Uber or Taxi when submitting your receipts in Yokoy.

ℹ️ Note: Bees extending their stay (early arrival or late departure) for private reasons will not be reimbursed for transportation costs from/to KRK airport.

Hotel

Check your individual arrival and departure date in this sheet before booking your hotel.

Book your hotel yourself using TravelPerk.

We recommend to book at the Puro Hotel Old Town in Krakow.

Beekeeper will cover the hotel overnights including breakfast. Any additional hotel incurred expenses such as laundry, minibar and social drinks, etc. will not be reimbursed.

Remote Bees: If you are a Remote Bee or have a commute longer than 1 hour one way, please check in this sheet if you are entitled to book a hotel (>1 hour travel time from Krakow).

Extra nights for extended private stays (early arrival or late departure) will not be reimbursed.

Meals & Drinks

Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinners will be provided from Thursday morning to Friday lunchtime. Meal expenses will not be eligible for reimbursement during this period.

Outside of this time, the only allowed meals to expense with receipts are the ones incurred during travel times.

Wine, Beer and Soft Drinks will be provided for dinner on Thursday night. Any other alcoholic beverages will have to be covered privately.

🚨 Attention Managers: If you decide to purchase beverages for your teams, please ensure that these expenses are covered privately.
